Note: We have received several inquiries as to the difference between MEDIAN prices and AVERAGE prices. In a series of numbers, the MEDIAN number is the number that falls directly in the middle. For example, if your series is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, then your MEDIAN number would be 3 since it falls directly in the middle. To determine the average of this series of numbers, add them all together, then divide by the number of numbers appearing in the series (5).
